Vincent Mehdizadeh made the vending machine to get marijuana. The PVM verifies that the user is legally allowed to purchase medicinal marijuana by requiring a prescription card and a fingerprint that is associated with the holder of the card. Sadly, the machine does not allow any one user to take more than one ounce of medicinal marijuana a week :( Each transaction gives the customer about one-eighth to two-eighths of an ounce. Another benefit of the machine, according to Mehdizadeh, is lower cost. By eliminating the workers behind the counter at the distribution centers, buyers will pay $20 to $40 less per one-eighth of an ounce.

Smoking weed vs. eating weed
Smoking marijuahna gets you high faster than eating weed. However, when you eat weed the high lasts longer and is more of a body high while smoking from a pipe or something is more of a head high. You are more likely to feel nauseous or vomit earting weed than when smoking a joint.

Marijuana
When smoked, marijuana gives the user a "high," a mild feeling of elation, pleasure, and wonder. The onset is rapid, about 2-5 minutes, and lasts for about 30 minutes to three or four hours, depending on the dose. Being high on marijuana changes the way people interpret sounds and color, making auditory and visual experiences more stimulating and intense. This is why marijuana use was been intensely promoted by music fans in the 60s and 70s, and marijuana continues to be used frequently at rock concerts. Marijuana gives the user a soothing sensation which diminishes the pain of diseases like cancer and AIDS.
Long-term marijuana use is far less damaging than long-term alcohol use.
Excessive alcohol consumption is the third leading preventable cause of death in the United States and is associated with multiple adverse health consequences, including liver cirrhosis, various cancers, unintentional injuries, and violence. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control reported 20,687 “alcohol-induced deaths in 2003 and the CDC has no reports of “marijuana-induced deaths.”
